This is our new buck:

And our new doe:

These guys are Silver Fox rabbits,as they grow the black coloring will slowly be replaced by silver,much like a Silver Fox.They are best known for their very docile temperaments and high dress out weight.The doe won't be old enough to breed until next year,but we are going to cross the buck with our New Zelaland doe and see what the resulting litter ends up like.

So excited to have them,had to post and show you.

Just as update here.

The doe has settled in nicely,and really seems to enjoy being picked up and held.

The buck was VERY tense and cringed a lot when picked up and held,but has since started to settle down.

We're going to see where this goes,but I would say,if I had put more effort into researching breeds before we got our first rabbits,I wouldn't have gotten the New Zealands,although since we already have them,we will use them,but from this point forward,any more newbies will be Silver Fox for sure.
